l0ng-ai 2bf412ff0d feat(plugins): let plugin code open streaming log tabs (#2082)
views.open-log-tab(key, title, process-log) (SDK host::open_log_tab) opens the read-only log tab a web view opens with open-log-tab, from a command or event of a window, reusing the Services pane's process-log.

The host checks the process grant and limits when called and remembers what each key runs in that window; the tab starts it by key (plugin_log_tab_spawn) through the web-view PTY checks: pinned program, trusted project, session cap, lifecycle and grant revocation. Remote windows report that these tabs aren't available there yet.

l0ng-ai ec171c3188 feat(plugins): tidy the unreleased 1.3 API before it freezes (#2079)
- workspace.symbols becomes the project method project.symbols(query, limit), like find-files; the Rust SDK's Project::symbols is unchanged, components built against the previous main need a rebuild.
- The open-log-tab web message names its arguments args, as pty-spawn and the services process-log do; baseArgs is refused with log-error rather than ignored.
- Document the hover, semantic-tokens and diagnostics provider exports and their worlds.

Vadim LazukтаInf1mum 32a778d28d feat(interpreters): add an existing Python virtual environment as an interpreter (#2076)
Refs #1907

Add Python Interpreter → Existing environment: Browse picks the environment folder, which is resolved right away (pyvenv.cfg, bin/python or Scripts\python.exe) and added to the interpreter list as "Python X.Y (<env name>)", then remembered. Picking the folder rather than the executable keeps the environment's identity, since the native file picker resolves the venv's python symlink to the base interpreter. Works for `python -m venv` and uv environments; a broken environment shows an error instead of being added. Probing runs off the command thread.

lleviathe 9673ccc687 fix(editor): keep indent guides straight and drop the column-0 guide (#1525)
Indent guides are drawn as one 1px strip per level in the `::after` overlay (so selections and mark backgrounds don't cover them), stay straight across wrapped and empty lines, and start at the first nested level: the column-0 guide is gone. Code lens rows keep the guides of the line they annotate.

Vadim LazukтаInf1mum fba893b36d fix(vcs): keep history revision lists off the git command line (#2075)
Refs #1538

Show History on a repository with many branches and tags failed on Windows with os error 206 ("文件名或扩展名过长"): default-scope history passed HEAD and every branch/tag tip as argv revisions, and the command line overflowed the ~32K limit. Revisions now count toward the same argv budget as pathspecs; when they overflow, revisions, `--` and paths go through `git log --stdin`. The same bound applies to every history walk in ide-vcs, including the shallow-clone `rev-list`. Small inputs produce the same command as before. Verified on macOS with 1500 tags on a deeply nested file and folder; Windows wasn't run natively.

Arnaud Ritti 905a672bad feat(plugins): add declarative multi-page settings (#2074)
Closes #1720

Plugins can declare searchable multi-page settings (API 1.3): pages under the plugin in Settings, groups, string lists, editable tables and command buttons, while single-schema plugins keep working. A command button applies pending edits first and runs against the selected Global/Project layer (also remotely); Reset keeps other pages' edits, and invalid table/list edits never replace saved rows. Field and page order come from the schema without changing serde_json's map ordering elsewhere in the app.

Arnaud Ritti 99102d8a40 fix(plugins): preserve uninstall retries and bound mock private paths (#2073)
Related #1947

Uninstall keeps a plugin registered but stopped until its private data, secrets and package are cleaned up; a failure is shown and Uninstall can be retried, also after a restart (a durable cleanup record outside the package restores the target). While cleanup is pending, enable, reload, consent, permission changes, reinstall, replacement and rollback are refused. Secret-deletion errors are reported, and cleanup never follows a symlinked ancestor outside plugin storage. The SDK mock checks private-path components and rejects traversal independently of filesystem grants.

Deng Liuтаdengliu a2599a6f79 feat(plugins): plugin-backed content editor tabs with custom actions (#2045)
A plugin web view can open an editor tab with its own title, language (or file name for detection), content and toolbar actions (API 1.3). Clicking an action sends `{ action, content }` back to the plugin, which replies with new content and/or a status message, or left/right content shown in the IDE's diff viewer. The tab follows the editor document lifecycle: modified marker, close-with-changes prompt, read-only, and saves whose reply arrives after newer edits (or that the plugin rejects) keep the document dirty.

Deng Liuтаdengliu bd1a3ce1e3 feat(plugins): tool-window web views can draw their own header (#2047)
A tool-window web view can declare `header = "none"` (API 1.3) to render its own header. The host then replaces the standard header with corner actions (Options, Hide) once the frame has loaded, and tells the frame the corner inset to keep free (CSS variables) so the actions don't cover the plugin's controls. Views without the declaration, and the loading and error states of every view, keep the standard header.

Arnaud Ritti 2329f1e955 feat(plugins): use indexed anchors for usages and rename (#2050)
Closes #1943

Find Usages and Rename use document-indexer definitions and references next to language-server results. An indexed rename previews every name anchor and applies through the existing atomic workspace edit with grouped undo, guarded by index synchronization, canonical paths and document snapshots; a superseded rename preparation can't revive an obsolete session. Language-server Find Usages and Rename are unchanged. Released WIT is unchanged.

Arnaud Ritti 63065bab64 feat(plugins): deliver batched filesystem events (#2049)
Closes #1948

Plugins receive debounced batches of files created, changed and removed outside the editor in open projects, as SDK `Event::FilesChanged` (delivered through `other("files-changed", …)`, so released WIT is unchanged), under the `events` capability and the plugin's path filters. Activation on these events requires API 1.3. Batches are coalesced per plugin through its actor, survive cancellation without losing deltas, and are dropped when the project or host shuts down.

Andrea Basileтаandreabasile 7ecb452350 feat(remote): forward ports of a dev container (#2072)
Refs #1083

A dev container's ports can be forwarded: the Ports tool window shows in a dev container window, `forwardPorts` of devcontainer.json are forwarded on open (keeping the local number when free, falling back otherwise), and ports forwarded by hand are restored per folder and configuration. Each forwarded connection is a loopback listener whose connections run `docker exec … openidea-server --connect localhost <port>` through the container's own network, so no published ports or extra tools in the image are needed. The container tunnel lives in `ide-remote::container_tunnel`; tunnels own their connections and Docker children, so stopping a forward, closing the window or losing the connection leaves no listeners or processes behind (the same ownership fix applies to SSH forwards).

* feat(agents): chat-style conversation view with folded tool runs, tags, jump-to-latest and retract (#1980)

- Lay the conversation out as chat: user messages on the right, agent replies on the left, each with an author row, a card, actions in the header and a time/duration footer.
- Fold consecutive reasoning and finished tool calls into one collapsible 'Reasoning - N tool calls' row with +added / -removed counts; running tools stay expanded.
- Render @file and /skill references in message text as distinct tags.
- Load earlier entries in batches without moving the viewport, offer 'Jump to Latest' when scrolled away, and defer loading while the scrollbar is dragged.
- Add 'Retract Message': stop the agent, drop that turn and every later one, and put the original text/images back in the composer.
- Drop the catalog entry for the replaced duration tooltip.

* fix(agents): preserve conversation scrolling and retract state

Arnaud Ritti 04b1b863df feat(plugins): add persistent private filesystem directories (#2051)
Closes #1947

Adds API 1.3 `fs.plugin-dir`: a persistent owner-only directory per plugin (0700 directories / 0600 files on Unix, owner-only ACL on Windows), separate from the packaged code, storage and secrets. The plugin reads and writes under it without fs.* grants, can open files there in the editor and pass their paths to approved programs; editor saves keep the protection, restart keeps the content, uninstall removes it. Traversal and symlink escapes into other plugins' directories are rejected (real-Wasm regressions).

Arnaud Ritti a5db5cdda8 fix(smoke): allow graceful server shutdown before forced cleanup (#2054)
The smoke harness killed the server's process group right after closing its stdin, so the host never got to shut down and tool processes it had spawned in their own groups could be left running. Close now waits for the server's graceful EOF shutdown (bounded at 15 s), then kills the server's own group and every independent tool group it owned, reporting group-kill errors only after cleaning the rest. Covered by `smoke/server.test.ts` (graceful, failed initialize, hung shutdown, signal exit, spawn failure, missing `ps`, coalesced frames, kill errors).

Whole-line copies and cuts paste above the caret line from every paste entry point (shortcut, menu, history, plain text), including a copied blank line. SunZhiQiang b2d30e0c95 fix(editor): keep tab titles in sync with renamed agent tasks (#2062)

Tags are edited as a unit (Backspace/Delete, arrows) and are not committed mid-IME composition. SunZhiQiang 45a1132ece feat(vcs): group the Worktrees panel by repository and merge linked roots (#2063)

Arnaud Ritti 1e78c4c877 fix(lsp): retire instances within their generation (#2068)
A retired language-server instance could still act after a replacement started: its close or failed startup published Down (a false "restart failed"), and stop/supervisor cleanup cleared the replacement's diagnostics and progress. Retirement now commits state, status, phase and cleanup together for its own generation, with event callbacks ordered outside state locks, and ordinary diagnostics and task events go through the same retirement queue. CMake configurations bypassed the Build executor and Build Project ignored the selected target, so CMake projects had no hammer, configure/build output went to Run tabs, and generated names carried a "(build)" suffix (the build directory) that read like an action. Now the toolbar hammer and Cmd+F9 build the selected CMake target and profile without running it; configure/build prerequisites of Run, Debug and CTest run in the Build window and a failed build prevents the launch; generated executables are "CMake Application" configurations; generated names add profile/build directory only when needed to tell them apart ("hello", or "hello [Debug · build-debug/]"). A call that begins a background task gets the longer `background` budget, but it was armed once, so a task that kept calling `report` was still killed at the first deadline. Each `report` and `is-cancelled` now renews it (the deadline only moves forward; silent work still times out), up to a 30-minute ceiling per task. l0ng-ai 292ddc4d2a fix(lsp): skip widening for indexed source files (#2052)
Fixes #2034

Call hierarchy, Find Usages and rename widen a server's answer by opening project files that mention the symbol's name and asking again. For JDT LS those files are mostly sources it already analyses, so nearly every incoming-calls request ran a second, slow round before anything was shown. Widening now asks the server which candidates are already in its analysis scope (optional `openidea.workspace.coveredFiles` command, served by the bundled JDT extension using the live source search scope) and only opens the rest; a missing or failing answer keeps the previous behaviour. Covers call hierarchy, references and rename. Hierarchy on a multi-module Maven fixture: median 703 ms → 224 ms, one query round.

WangTongchaoтаchaoes 3efec1c848 feat(plugins): let a plugin keep a process running behind a handle (#2027)
Closes #1826

API 1.3 adds `run-command` (one-shot with stdin, cwd and environment) and a handle-based `start` for a long-running process with incremental stdin/stdout/stderr, both gated by the existing `process:<program>` grants. A plugin's environment entries are append-only: a key the child would already inherit (including the login-shell PATH) is refused with an error naming it, as are empty or malformed keys. Processes run in their own process group and are killed with their descendants when the handle is dropped, the plugin is disabled, unloaded or reclaimed, or the owning window closes; at most eight handles per plugin. Output is bounded and UTF-8 safe, stdin writes honour cancellation, and validation failures return typed errors instead of trapping the plugin. Verified on macOS; Windows/Linux not run.

RuyimgByCN e024c13db7 feat(run): Tomcat Server run configuration and application server dialogs (#1963)
Adds a local Tomcat Server run configuration: Server / Deployment / Logs / Startup-Connection tabs, an Application Servers dialog (home, version, base directory, libraries), HTTP/HTTPS/JMX/AJP ports, update and frame-deactivation actions, JRE and VM options, and run/debug with redeploy.

Tomcat HOME and a configured base directory are read-only sources: every launch, build metadata write, sync and update goes to an IDE-owned CATALINA_BASE per configuration, which rejects paths equal to or overlapping either source (symlinks included). With "Deploy applications configured in Tomcat instance" on, the source's webapps and conf/Catalina/<host> descriptors are copied into it; off, the recreated base has none. Controls without a runtime consumer were removed; removing every server profile clears the selection. Muuтаmuutot 200ab10e65 refactor(lsp): register per-language semantics under lsp/semantic (#1687)
Python's highlighting hooks, member intentions and Implement Methods, and PHP's construct docs move under semantic/python and semantic/php behind a small registry of language-specific behaviour. Intentions now run only for the current document's language. Behaviour is otherwise unchanged; the generic language sets stay next to their users.

arookieofc dfcdd8d764 fix(run): drop a moved file's temporary context configuration (#2037)
A single file's context configuration keeps the path it was produced
for, so moving main.cxx out of src/ left 'context:file:src/main.cxx'
selected while the gutter produced a second configuration for the new
path — the run command still compiled the old file.

fsChanged now drops temporary context configurations (context:file: and
the compiled context:build: partner) whose file was removed, the way
IDEA deletes the context configuration with the file. Saved and
detected configurations stay.

l0ng-ai 27e73ea2cb fix(java): show Lombok generated members in Structure (#2046)
Refs #2026

The Java defaults left JDT LS's generated-symbol filter on, so Lombok getters, setters, constructors, builder methods and logger fields were missing from Structure and File Structure. Enable `java.symbols.includeGeneratedCode`; generated entries now appear and navigate to their field or annotation. Adds a real-JDT LS regression test (manual, ignored by default).

Arnaud Ritti bb99c7c4d1 fix(plugins): collapse the tables fixture field guard (#2041)
The tables test fixture's nested editable-field check tripped clippy::collapsible_if under -D warnings, failing the Plugins CI job. Collapsed it with unchanged behaviour and rebuilt the fixture.

Arnaud Ritti f6531542de feat(plugins): add fixed filenames and file template variables (#2032)
Closes #1954

Plugin file templates could only take a typed name plus a fixed extension, so dot-files such as .dockerignore and templates needing more than a name weren't expressible. Templates (API ^1.3) can now declare a fixed `fileName` and named `variables` that the New File dialog asks for, and plugin templates get the same Java/Kotlin/Go/PHP package inference as built-in ones. Unsafe filenames and existing files are refused. The dialog no longer submits on Enter while an IME is composing, and its variable form has proper padding. Adds a file-templates test fixture.

Arnaud Ritti 9e6cb7b93e feat(plugins): allow prompts while resolving code actions (#2025)
Closes #1945

Resolving a lazy code action or file action dropped the invoking window, so a plugin couldn't ask the user anything (input, pick, confirm) while building its edit. Resolution now runs with that window, so prompts work during resolution; previews and Actions on Save never prompt, cancellation keeps the text unchanged, and stale edits are rejected. WIT and SDK docs describe the new behaviour; the released API surface is unchanged.
