Qingandqtvbwfn 78a3768ec1 feat(ui): syntax-highlight the read-only source previews (#1284)
The read-only previews beside Problems, Show Usages and TODO results are syntax-coloured from one whole-file parse (capped for very large files), so a line inside a block comment or a multi-line string is coloured as such; the pane renders plain first and recolours when the parse lands. SourcePreview takes the colouring as a colorize prop (the editor's previewColors), keeping src/ui free of editor imports, and the tok-* colours live once in global.css instead of a copy per view, with the theme's comment style.

Sergei Melnikov c87d2a6b55 feat(plugins): let icon themes match by pattern, replace built-in icons and describe their settings page (#1177)
Icon themes could only map files by exact name or extension and folders by name. Themes can now match by regular expression or path (patterns that could backtrack badly, lookaround, inline flags and named groups are refused at install), ship dark variants, replace built-in UI and symbol (PSI) icons, and offer packs (groups) and variants (choices). A theme describes its own options page in Settings › Plugins as sections of items naming options the IDE implements (hide file/folder/UI/PSI icons, hollow folders, accent, monochrome, saturation, opacity, icon size, row height); values are stored per theme in appearance.fileIconThemeOptions. Existing themes are unchanged.

l0ng-ai 0dffad814a fix(editor): show wavy and dotted underlines on macOS (#1086)
Error, warning, weak-warning and typo underlines never showed on macOS, nor did underline effects of syntax tokens from a colour scheme: WebKit rejects a text-decoration shorthand with a style or colour (underline wavy <colour>), so the declaration fell back to none.

The editor's diagnostic and token styles also set -webkit-text-decoration, which WebKit takes the full value through; the red wavy underlines of the Problems, Build, Project and Database views use the longhand properties.

l0ng-ai 98517019e7 fix(editor): say when a file is outside the language server's projects (#1046)
jdtls only checks the syntax of a Java file outside every module's source
folders (or outside any imported project) and answers navigation with
nothing. The editor then said only "Cannot find declaration to go to", and
the server's explanation was a warning squiggle on line 1.

- A banner above the editor explains it while the server reports it, for
jdtls (not on the classpath of a project / non-project file), gopls (no
package, build constraints — this replaces the Go-only banner) and
rust-analyzer (unlinked file). For Java it offers the Maven / Gradle reload
  when available.
- Go to Declaration / Implementation / Type Declaration that finds nothing
in such a file gives the reason in its hint.

arookieofc 659afe66f5 fix(code-insight): stop call/type hierarchy from nesting recursive symbols forever (#1016)
A recursive symbol got a fresh id on every level (ids carry the parent
chain), so sibling dedupe never matched and each expansion requested the
same level again, forever. Identify items by their position key instead:
a child whose key repeats an ancestor is kept a leaf, marked recursive,
and never expanded.

7fdf1d62c3 fix(refactor): preserve versions and recover multi-file workspace edits (#488)
Multi-file refactorings could drop LSP document versions, overwrite content changed after a preview, or leave earlier files saved after a later write failed. Workspace edits now keep server versions and preview fingerprints, are validated on a staging copy, snapshot disk and open buffers, and roll back on commit failure (retaining recovery files if rollback fails). The whole edit is one Undo/Redo step in editors and in the notification. Version reads and transaction work run off the async workers. Closes #461.

kkmihaiandkkMihai 64b8b5cea9 fix(code-insight): keep usage highlights readable (#855)
Usage previews rendered the matched occurrence through tokenSpans, so the token colour rules outranked the inherited --fg-search-match and left syntax colours on the search-match background (about 1.1:1 in Islands Light). Render the match as plain text so it takes the search-match foreground; syntax colours stay on the surrounding code. Covered by unit tests and a Playwright contrast check across light, dark, high-contrast and mixed editor schemes.

Ning YuanLin 6456f0e404 feat(java): add read/write filters for Java field usages (#569)
Find Usages mixed reads and writes of a Java field, including Lombok getter and setter calls, because jdtls has no read/write classification in its references. The usages popup and Find window now have Read and Write toggles. Read-write accesses stay visible in either mode and unclassified results are kept.

Classification comes from a jdtls extension in `plugins/java-usages`, embedded as a jar and installed beside the other bundles. The checked-in jar was rebuilt from source with ECJ and matches byte for byte. Any extension failure falls back to standard references, so a jdtls upgrade can lose the filter but not Find Usages; rebuilding the jar on an upgrade is manual and described in the plugin README. Older installed jars are removed. Other languages keep their plain result count.

l0ng-ai 2c9a6470ff feat(project): add project trust and restricted execution mode (#517)
Projects now open with a user-owned trust decision. The prompt offers Preview in Restricted Mode, Don't Open and Trust Project, with an optional trusted parent folder; preview is the default focus so Enter never grants trust.

Restricted projects keep browsing, editing, saving, search and highlighting. Project-controlled execution is denied by default in the backend: run, debug, build, tools, language servers, plugins and Git commands that could honour repository configuration. Trusting a project enables those paths without reopening it, and decisions can be revoked in Settings.

Terminals stay available when the user opens one, without project shell settings, environment or virtualenv activation. A shell prompt that runs git in the folder can still honour the repository's core.fsmonitor.

l0ng-ai ac360b6143 feat(go): add core Go development workflows (#524)
Go settings, execution, debugging and test reporting were disconnected, leaving Go projects without editable build/test fields and workspace maintenance actions.

- Add project build constraints that update gopls in place, and notices on excluded files.
- Add editable Go Build and Go Test configurations with directory, package and file targets, separate tool and program arguments, modules, environment, output selection and build-only execution, and pass the same settings to Delve.
- Decode Go JSON test output into the results view, with subtests, failures, skips and rerun failed. Add gutter targets for benchmarks and generate directives.
- Add module environment and vendoring settings, read go.work members, and offer tidy, download, sync and use from file menus.
- Add file and package generate actions, and format and organize imports through gopls on Save and Reformat.
- Show what a Go program prints in the debug console: Delve's debuggee shares its stdio, which no DAP event carries.
- Keep the default build output out of version control, and keep configurations produced by an earlier run out of the gutter choices.

l0ng-ai 5bab140968 fix(lsp): report incomplete rename and caller searches, make them cancellable (#472)
Rename and incoming calls open the project files that mention the name, like
Find Usages, but dropped the reason a search could miss usages and could not be
cancelled. A rename past the 300-file limit changed part of the usages without
saying so.

- Rename and call hierarchy return why the result may be incomplete and take a
  request id for cancel_request.
- A rename that may have missed usages always opens the preview, with a warning.
- The Callers tree shows the note above the tree or on the expanded node.
- Candidates too large or not readable as text are reported as skipped.
- A newer rename or hierarchy query cancels the one it replaces.

l0ng-ai c8e3fe9d2e fix(lsp): Name the running server when it lacks a feature (#201)
ide-lsp returned the same `unavailable` error whether no server was running or a running server didn't implement the request, so the UI said no language server was available, and Invoke Inline Completion said no language server provides inline completion, while jdtls was running fine (it doesn't implement textDocument/inlineCompletion). When servers are running but none supports the feature, the error now names them ("jdtls doesn't support inline completion"), and every explicit action shares one message helper: Invoke Inline Completion, go to declaration / implementation / type declaration, quick documentation, parameter info, rename, reformat, intention actions, highlight usages, call / type hierarchy, find usages, safe delete and workspace symbols. With no server running it still says no language server is available. Background requests while typing stay silent.

Jaw 811da13a76 feat: Syntax-colour Find in Files and Show Usages result lines (#143)
Result lines in the Find in Files popup and tool window and in the Show Usages popup and Usages tool window are coloured like the editor, using the whole file as context, so a line inside a block comment or a multi-line string gets the right colour. The colouring lives in editor/lineTokens and all four lists share it; each file is parsed once and cached, and the parse runs in 8 ms time slices so large files don't block the UI thread. Lines that moved since the search, and files over 500k characters, are coloured on their own.

Jaw 55836e1b49 chore: Format the codebase with oxfmt and check formatting in CI (#135)
Run oxfmt once over the whole repository (formatting only, no logic changes) and add `pnpm format:check` to the frontend CI job so unformatted code no longer builds up. `.oxfmtrc.json` now skips the generated theme docs, test fixtures and code blocks inside Markdown.

l0ng-ai 5b63a2b95c fix(lsp): Drop language servers that leave the list from the status bar (#125)
Removing a language server (disabled in settings via stop_unlisted, or a fallback detached when its preferred server comes back) only emitted a stopped state, and the status bar list only refreshed for unknown servers, so the removed server stayed until the project was reopened. Both paths now go through forget(), which drops the server and emits IdeEvent::LanguageServerRemoved; the frontend drops the entry and ignores stale lsp_servers results that still contain it. Stopped servers no longer count towards "+N".

Jaw 70f10e741c fix(i18n): Translate the remaining UI text (Git, hierarchy, pull requests, dialogs, aria labels) (#114)
Hard-coded UI text, titles and aria-labels in about 110 components (Git panels, hierarchy, pull requests, dialogs, settings, welcome) now go through tx; spliced fragments became whole sentences (fileCount, noneFoundLabel, hierarchyTitle) and pull request states use keyed messages. 225 zh entries added, stale fragment entries removed.

Also: tx used as a tag without interpolations (tx`No checks`) now looks the text up exactly instead of as a template, so it is translated like tx("No checks"); the text-catalog test checks such tags as plain literals. Check and test counts reuse the existing "{count} passed" / "{failed} failing" entries.

l0ng-ai 357b728f1d Editor: quick fixes, completion, navigation while typing, and split-pane drag (#109)
* feat(editor): Drag tabs and files between split panes

HTML5 drag and drop never reaches the webview while native file drop is
enabled, so tab, project-file and changelist drags did nothing. They now
run on pointer events:

- Drag an editor tab onto another pane, or onto a pane's edge to split it.
- Drag files from the Project view into an editor pane (center opens them
there, an edge opens them in a new split).
- Drag files between changelists in the Commit view.
- "Drag-and-drop with Alt pressed only" applies to tabs and stripe buttons.

* fix(lsp): Deliver server settings and start servers on a supported JDK

- workspace/configuration answers a server's own section (basedpyright)
from its settings block; basedpyright runs in "standard" mode and keeps
auto search paths on, so `src/` layouts resolve from `tests/`.
- jdtls: formatting follows the editor indent, calls complete without
guessed arguments, and JDK internals stay out of completion.
- `max-java` in a language server config picks an installed JDK no newer
than that (kotlin-language-server fails on JDK 25).
- Server initialization may take up to 5 minutes (first Gradle import).
- `lsp_resend_diagnostics` re-emits stored diagnostics after a reload.
- Spelling only checks declared names (not called methods like
`substring`) and accepts plurals of known software terms.

* feat(editor): Quick fixes, completion and navigation while typing

Quick fixes
- Errors get a red quick-fix bulb; Apply Quick Fix (⌥⇧↵) fixes the most
severe problem at the caret, and the error hover offers the fix directly.
- Code generated by a code action is re-indented to the file's style.
- Python: Implement abstract methods (⌃I or the bulb) from the bases.
- Duplicate code actions are listed once.

Completion
- Overloads sharing a name, and a name importable from several modules,
are no longer merged into one entry.
- Auto-import entries show the module they import from.
- Call snippets without a stop (`new ArrayList<>()`) leave the caret inside
the parentheses with parameter info, or past them when nothing takes
arguments; parameter info also opens after server call snippets.
- The selected item is resolved ahead of acceptance, so its auto-import
  is applied (rust-analyzer).

Navigation and diagnostics
- Language server requests wait for pending edits, so Go to Declaration
right after typing answers for the current text; an empty answer right
after an edit is retried while the server catches up.
- Diagnostics come back after a window reload; error underlines stay
visible under typo / unused highlighting.
- Implementation gutter markers no longer refresh in a loop while the
  server reports progress.
- A missing alternative server no longer shows as a server error.

* chore(lint): Skip agent worktrees under .claude

* fix(editor): Skip cancelled LSP requests and limit generated-code reformat

- Requests cancelled while waiting for pending edits are not sent.
- Code generated by an action is reformatted per changed hunk, so an added
import doesn't reformat the code between it and the generated lines.
- A long busy spell caused by a settle refresh re-runs it only once.
- Files dropped on a file row of another changelist move to that changelist.
- Python Implement methods: a nested class without bases ends the lookup,
class bodies continue through unindented string lines, and
  `@abstractproperty` stubs become `@property`.
- Resend diagnostics goes through the host ops, and custom servers get
  `max_java`.

* fix(editor): Rank the exact type first in Java constructor completion

jdtls appends the call or body to filterText (`String(${0})`); matching
on the label instead lets typing `String` rank `String` above
`StringBuilder` and the other types sharing its sort text.

* fix(editor): List identical completion items once

kotlin-language-server repeats a class once per classpath entry declaring
it, so `String()` and `String` were listed three times each.

* fix(editor): Keep the internal cancellation message out of the UI text catalog

l0ng-ai 8568ff001b fix(i18n): Translate interpolated UI text through a tx template tag (#98)
About 270 UI strings were JS template literals with interpolation passed to exact catalog lookup, so they could never be translated; about 25 more spliced lowercase English fragments into sentences.

`tx` now also works as a template tag (`` tx`Remove data source '${name}'?` ``): it looks up the entry by the literal parts (`{name}` placeholders), translates interpolated values that have entries, and remembers generated text so it re-translates after a language switch or when the catalog loads later. Call sites use the tag; spliced fragments are written as whole sentences per variant. Adds 280 Chinese translations and removes stale ones.

The catalog guard now also fails on untagged template literals reaching exact lookup (unless allowlisted with a reason), tagged text missing from the catalog, case-changed or ternary-suffix interpolations, and duplicate template patterns.

l0ng-ai 8ec35c94ec fix(lsp): Find usages in unopened files outside the language server's scope (#89)
Reference-based features only asked the language server, which analyses its configured scope (e.g. Pyright's `include`) plus open files, so usages in unopened files outside that scope were silently missing.

Find Usages, Show Usages, usage counts, Safe Delete of a symbol, Rename and incoming calls now also search project files that contain the symbol's name (whole word, same language, .gitignore/excludes respected, unsaved edits included, up to 300 files, cancellable). Candidates the first answer didn't cover are opened in the server temporarily, queried and closed again. Files the user has open are never touched, and diagnostics for the temporary files are dropped. An empty result while the server is still indexing is retried once indexing ends. When results may still be incomplete (indexing, file cap), the usages UI says so. `lsp_references` takes a RequestId and is cancelled by newer searches. Not covered yet: the Safe Delete scan when deleting a file or directory.

l0ng-ai 56fdc005a8 feat(java): Download JDK, and one-click "Download JDK N" where a JDK is missing (#61)
Root cause: the IDE only detected installed JDKs and had no way to get one, so any launch needing a newer JDK than the machine has (latest jdtls needs JDK 25) dead-ended in an error.

Fix: IDEA-style Download JDK (Eclipse Temurin via the Adoptium API, sha256-verified, reusing ide-tools' download/verify code; Windows zip, Linux tar.gz, macOS Contents/Home) into <app-data>/tools/jdks, registered with JDK discovery and rescanned after each download. "Download JDK…" in the Project SDK and Language Server JDK pickers; a one-click `java.downloadJdk` "Download JDK N" on "needs JDK N" errors, which also repoints a too-old language server JDK and restarts jdtls.

Siblings: language server status popup, jdtls launch notification, run console classpath error, debug launch, run configurations without a JDK ≥ the module's Java version, Maven/Gradle sync failures, single-file Java run without `java` on PATH.

Verified in the app on macOS: vendor/version/location queries, the Download JDK dialog from the Language Server JDK picker, a real Temurin 25.0.5 download that runs. Not verified on Windows/Linux.

l0ng-ai aa5821bb46 fix(spelling): Rename identifiers on Typo fixes, add inspection controls, cut false positives (#51)
Root causes: Typo "Change to" replaced one occurrence even for declared names (breaking references); inspections had no Disable / Edit settings controls anywhere; en_US Hunspell does not derive agent nouns like "checkpointer" and compound identifier words were flagged; local inspections (Typo, file references, SQL) never reached Problems.
Fix (IDEA): "Typo: Rename to…" renames via LSP rename, falling back to syntax-based local rename, never a silent single replace, and lists identifier-safe words only; intention submenu (→) with Edit inspection profile setting / Disable inspection for every inspection; Problems and Inspection Results get Disable Inspection, Change Severity, Edit Inspection Profile Setting; Typo options Process code / literals / comments; -er/-ers derivation and identifier compounds accepted, common misspellings still flagged.
Siblings covered: all LSP and built-in inspections' intentions, file reference and SQL inspections in Problems, severity counter.
Verified: ide-spell tests (issue examples + ~50 real misspellings), vitest (286), in-app on macOS: only 'mesage' flagged, submenu, Rename to → 'message' updated both occurrences.

  ⌥⌫ deletes the preceding word
- ⌃G / ⌃⌘G whole-word rules and wrap hint; double-modifier caret cloning
- Visual-column block selection, nested Collapse All, recursive folding,
fold selection toggle, Go to Matching Brace, gutter drag selects lines,
sticky line and error stripe clicks, Insert toggles overwrite mode

Run, VCS, workbench
- Gutter icons show the last test result; Modify Run Configuration; test tree
hides passed tests, context menu and assertion diff
- Stack frames resolve by fully qualified class name; context run chooser
- Inline Smart Step Into
- Git Log multi-select filters, "me" and date range; favourite branches,
Fetch and tags in the branch popup; stash Keep index and Unstash options
- Terminal tab titles follow the shell; Distraction Free persists; gear menu;
sticky balloons move to the notifications tool window after a while

* fix(vcs): Label restored local changes as yours after Smart Checkout; name the branch checked out

Conflicts from restoring stashed changes show the user's uncommitted
changes on the left like other operations, and the checkout notification
names the new branch instead of the previous one.

* fix: Close the merge editor on Apply; confirm before terminating a running Run tab

Like IDEA, applying a merge result closes its tab, and closing a Run tab
whose process still runs asks before terminating it (with a Settings
toggle and "Do not ask again").

* fix(terminal): Don't start a new session in the background after closing the last tab

The hidden Terminal window stays mounted, so it reopened a session as soon
as the last tab closed. It now opens the Local tab only once the window is
shown again, as IDEA does.

* fix(vcs): Start the merge result from a three-way merge; close the editor on Apply

The result pane now begins with non-conflicting changes merged and each
conflict showing the base text, resolved from the side panes, instead of
raw conflict markers. Apply now reports success, so the tab closes.

fix(search): Match File Structure filter on word starts

* fix: Limit Smart Step Into to the paused line; drop usages hints on callbacks; show full intention titles

Adapters that list every remaining call in the function (debugpy) made Smart
Step Into fall back to a chooser that offered calls from later lines. Targets
are now narrowed to the calls on the paused line, so they are picked in place.

Anonymous functions and callbacks no longer get a 'no usages' hint, and
intention titles are no longer cut short when there is room for them.

* fix: Undo / Redo from the Edit menu and Find Action use the editor's history

They ran the webview's native undo, which misses programmatic edits such as
templates, completion and refactorings, so nothing happened in the editor.

l0ng-ai 76d33f0306 feat(ui): IDEA-style message dialogs, project widget popup and Chinese UI text
Message dialogs: `Dialog` gets an `icon` (question / info / warning / error)
that renders IDEA's alert layout: no title bar, a 32px icon, bold title,
text, checkbox under it. Every confirmation helper (prompt, VCS, services,
project tree, keymap, LSP choices, run, database, Replace All) uses it. Open
Project matches IDEA: "This Window" is the default and has focus. The Code
Analysis and TODO commit checks default to Review.

Project widget: the title bar project button opens a popup like IDEA's
ProjectWidget, with Open… / Clone Repository…, the projects open in other
windows (new `window_open_projects` command) and recent projects, filtered by
typing.

Chinese UI: UI text stays written in English and is translated through a
source-text catalog (`locales/text/zh.json`, about 2300 strings). The UI
primitives (buttons, checkboxes, selects, tabs, dialogs, menus, tooltips,
toasts, settings labels and hints) translate the strings they are given.
Action titles and categories are localised in the registry, and static JSX
text uses `<T>`, so text follows a locale switch without a reload. The
Settings window now syncs the locale too. Settings search matches both
languages.

l0ng-ai 5e3e1f939d fix(lsp): Run jdtls on a JDK 21+ and offer Install in the server popup (#2)
* fix(lsp): Run jdtls on a JDK 21+ and offer Install in the server popup

jdtls refuses to start on Java < 21, and its launcher took whatever
JAVA_HOME / PATH pointed at, so it crash-looped with a Python traceback
when that was an older JDK (#1). Pick the first detected JDK 21+ and pass
it via JAVA_HOME; projects still compile against their own runtimes.
When none is found, report a clear message instead of launching, and
rescan on restart so a newly installed JDK is picked up. JDK detection
now also covers the java on PATH and Windows vendor directories.

The Language Servers status popup showed the manual install hint for
missing servers; it now has an Install button that runs tools.install,
which opens the Language Servers settings page for tools the IDE cannot
install itself.

Fixes #1

* fix(lsp): Address review of the jdtls runtime check

- Cache the JDK scan and rescan at most every 10s while no JDK 21+ is
found, refreshing the shared list instead of discarding it; skip
  duplicate Windows Program Files roots.
- Check `launch_error` in the manager (inside the blocking launch task)
rather than in ProcessLauncher, and skip such servers in batch
  inspection.
- Keep the install hint visible next to the Install button; when the tool
list failed to load, try the install so the error is reported.
- Don't let a server snapshot requested before a status event overwrite
that newer status (left jdtls showing "Starting…" while missing).

l0ng-ai 5f6e2a9c85 fix(workbench): Reset project state when a window switches projects
Opening another project in the same window left the previous project's state in
module-level stores: Amend and the commit message carried over, debug sessions kept
running, and Git Log, usages, hierarchy, inspection, HTTP client, recent locations,
navigation history and notifications still showed the old project.

Reset each of them on a project root change, stop the old debug sessions, ask about
unsaved changes before leaving a project, close the settings window (it would apply
to the new project) and end the indexing task when a scan is cancelled.
