Two folders can now be compared from the project view (Compare Directories with two folders selected, or Compare With… on one folder, also in Find Action). The result tree marks entries as only on left, only on right, contents differ or identical, with a name filter and a show-identical toggle; double-click opens the existing diff editor, and files or whole subdirectories can be copied to either side (overwrite and delete ask first, extra files in the target are kept). Comparison runs in the background with progress and cancel, honours the project's exclusions, and works for remote projects through the same file commands.
The comparison tree and diff preview are shared with the Git folder/revision comparison.
Verified on macOS (subdirectories, Chinese names, binary files, copy both ways, delete, cancel on large files); Windows and Linux not run.
Fixes#520
Compare with Branch or Revision only handled one file, so reviewing a folder meant opening each file. Folders, the project root and multiple selections now open a changes tree against the chosen revision, with per-file diffs on demand. A single file keeps its direct diff.
Each path resolves against its own repository through the root registry. In a multi-repo workspace the picker offers shared revisions such as "main in 3 repositories" as well as per-repository ones, results are grouped by repository, and content outside any repository or a repository missing the revision is stated in the result. Listing is cancellable and off the UI thread, includes worktree and untracked changes, and a rename leaving the selection shows as a delete. Show Diff on folders reuses the same tree.
Verified on macOS, and against a remote host over the server protocol. A remote window, Windows and Linux were not run.
Fixes#567
Workspaces open several local project folders in one IDE session (File › New / Open / Manage Workspace…, or Attach when opening a project, which creates a workspace automatically for a plain project window). Member folders are the Project view roots and take part in indexing, Find in Files, Git, language servers, run configurations and builds; agent tasks choose which member they work in. Window › Merge All Project Windows groups project windows into one window with project tabs (switch, reorder, close, move to a new window), restored on reopen.

- Git › Show History is offered for folders, multi-selection and the project root, not just single files.
- The Push dialog lets you pick any configured remote; pushing to another remote keeps the upstream's branch name and shows outgoing commits against that remote's branch.
- The Changes toolbar gains New Changelist (changelists already supported new/edit/delete/set active/move).
- Compare with Current gains Show Diff, opening the whole-project diff between the branch and HEAD.
- Merge view: F7 / Shift+F7 navigate conflicts, the three panes scroll together, and each side pane can be annotated with Git Blame of its own content.
- Windows-only test fixes in ide-lsp and ide-sdk.

The project view context menu gains Jump to Source (F4) for files. Recent Files
no longer lists files deleted since they were opened, including files removed
while the IDE was closed; virtual documents stay listed.
Editing and folding
- Move Caret to Code Block Start / End with Selection, Auto-Indent Lines,
Move Element Left / Right (swaps call arguments, parameters and list
entries).
- Fold Code Block folds the {...} block around the caret; Expand to Level
and Expand All to Level 1-5.
- Custom folding regions (//region, #region, <editor-fold>) fold to their
description; Navigate > Custom Folding lists them.
- Error Description shows the problems at the caret; Next / Previous
Highlighted Usage steps through usage highlights.
- Editor tooltips stay below the editor's top edge, so hints on the first
lines no longer hide under the tab bar.
Navigation, project and run
- Navigate > File Path lists the file and its folders to reveal in the file
manager.
- Copy... (F5) opens the Copy dialog for the selection or the open file; the
project view's Refactor submenu gets Copy File.
- Debug... chooses a configuration to debug; Quick Evaluate Expression shows
the selection's value in an expandable hint.
- Inspect Current File runs the inspection without the scope dialog.
- Surround with Live Template lists only $SELECTION$ templates; Java gets
Callable, read / write lock and iterate templates.
Windows
- Stretch the active tool window left / right / up / down, Restore Default
Layout, Go to Next / Previous Splitter, Close Active Tab on a second key,
Stop Background Processes.
All actions have default shortcuts in both keymaps, VS Code preset entries,
main menu items and Chinese translations.
Project view and Keymap settings
- Project view Options: Sort by Name / Type / Modification Time (also in
Find Action).
- Settings > Keymap: Add Mouse Shortcut records a side-button click with
modifiers and checks conflicts like keyboard shortcuts.
- Folding: Expand to Level / Expand All to Level 1-5.
Run oxfmt once over the whole repository (formatting only, no logic changes) and add `pnpm format:check` to the frontend CI job so unformatted code no longer builds up. `.oxfmtrc.json` now skips the generated theme docs, test fixtures and code blocks inside Markdown.

About 270 UI strings were JS template literals with interpolation passed to exact catalog lookup, so they could never be translated; about 25 more spliced lowercase English fragments into sentences.
`tx` now also works as a template tag (`` tx`Remove data source '${name}'?` ``): it looks up the entry by the literal parts (`{name}` placeholders), translates interpolated values that have entries, and remembers generated text so it re-translates after a language switch or when the catalog loads later. Call sites use the tag; spliced fragments are written as whole sentences per variant. Adds 280 Chinese translations and removes stale ones.
The catalog guard now also fails on untagged template literals reaching exact lookup (unless allowlisted with a reason), tagged text missing from the catalog, case-changed or ternary-suffix interpolations, and duplicate template patterns.
