DomKingтаDomKing 253fcfb7e0 feat(debugger): search the debug console output (#1502)
The Debug console had no Find: Cmd-F did nothing there, in the Debug tool window and in Services' debug output alike. It now searches the whole buffer (Match Case / Words / Regex) with the n/m counter, highlights every match with the current one on its own background, scrolls it into view, and offers the Run console's context menu (Copy, Select All, Copy All, Find…, Clear All).

The find matching and find bar moved from the Run console into src/ui (consoleFind.ts, ConsoleFindBar.tsx) and are shared by both consoles; Enter on one of the bar's buttons activates it instead of jumping to the next match.

Jacob Kjeldahlтаkjeldahl 9a48426740 fix(run): swap ruby/bundle launcher when toggling Bundler (#1533)
A Ruby script configuration pre-fills Launcher with the interpreter path. Ticking Run with Bundler kept it and added `exec ruby`, so the run became `/…/bin/ruby exec ruby …` and failed with LoadError. A launcher that is another Ruby tool of the same interpreter (ruby, bundle, rake, rspec) now means its sibling in that directory; a launcher of the user's own (binstub, spring) is kept. The rake and RSpec types share the same helper.

b0f65769c0 feat(remote): open WSL projects through a WSL transport (#989)
* perf(vfs): list directories off the main thread and reuse the repository lookup

Opening a folder on a network share (\\wsl.localhost\<distro>\...) is slow
because every listing ran on the main thread and walked up to the repository
root and ran a repository discovery again.

- fs_read_dir runs on the blocking pool.
- GitignoreStack::cached keeps the repository root and the repo-level rules
for a few seconds. An edit of .git/info/exclude is still seen at once (its
mtime and size are checked) and every .gitignore / .ignore is read fresh.

Refs #916

* feat(remote): open WSL projects through a WSL transport

A folder of a WSL distro (\\wsl.localhost\<distro>\... or \\wsl$\...) now opens
as a remote project whose openidea-server runs inside the distro, so the
terminal, SDK discovery, run, language servers and git are native Linux.

- RemoteTarget (ssh | wsl) replaces the SSH configuration id in the remote
launch, connection, session and recents; old recents are read as SSH and a
WSL target never inherits the legacy trust migration.
- remote_wsl: probe the distro, stream the server into ~/.openidea/server and
  start it with `wsl.exe -d <distro> --exec <bin> --stdio`. Distro names are
validated and every command goes through --exec with positional arguments.
- wsl_distros / wsl_resolve commands; File > Open, the CLI and recents route
WSL folders to the distro and focus the window that already has them.
- Remote Development dialog: SSH/WSL choice with the detected distros; the
  status bar shows `WSL: <distro>` / `SSH: <host>`.
- ide-jsonrpc: skip the NUL left at the start of a line by UTF-16 output of
wsl.exe, which made the first message of the server disappear.

Not run on Windows yet: only a stand-in for wsl.exe is tested.

Refs #925, #327, #721

* fix(remote): satisfy clippy in WSL output decoding

* style(run): format run types

* fix: regenerate bindings and drop untranslated WSL catalog entry

* test(i18n): list WSL as an untranslated product name

* fix(run): pick build wrappers and shell quoting by the execution host

A remote window runs commands on its Linux or macOS server, so a Windows
desktop no longer selects gradlew.bat, mvnw.cmd or Windows quoting for it.

* fix(welcome): open legacy WSL UNC recents and sessions through the distro

Recents and the restored session called the local openProject for a
\\wsl.localhost folder saved before WSL projects, which fails with OS
error 123. They now resolve it like the other entry points.

* fix(windows): keep WSL files out of remote project launches

path_launch tested the WSL share before is_dir, so a first-instance CLI
launch with a WSL file opened a remote project instead of LightEdit.

* fix(remote): run-command OS comes from the remote host, not an assumption

The server's OS was dropped after connect, so a restored session had none and
isWindows() assumed every remote host is Unix. Keep it on the connection and
the session, and resolve it through hostOs().

payailk 566190e94b feat(debugger): debug Flutter apps through the Flutter debug adapter (#1474)
Dart projects that depend on the Flutter SDK were debugged through
`dart debug_adapter`, which cannot start a program importing dart:ui and has no
hot reload. A session now uses `flutter debug_adapter` when the program's or the
working directory's pubspec.yaml depends on the Flutter SDK, or when an attach
configuration asks for it (add-to-app: vm-service-uri and device map to the
adapter's attach arguments). Hot Reload and Hot Restart are sent over DAP and
appear in the toolbar of Dart sessions. Dart files also get a debug configuration.

payailk 8869f1ce1c fix(debugger): let session tabs be closed (#1472)
Debug session tabs had no close button, and ending a session only marked it
terminated, so every session stayed in the strip and Cmd+W fell through to hiding
the window. Each tab can now be closed: a running session asks before it is
terminated (the Run tab's question, shared through the workbench), then the
session, its children and its console are dropped and the tab on the left is
selected.

l0ng-ai ee5d912157 fix(java): run Application and Spring Boot configs from the project root (#1475)
Configurations created for a main class, and the Spring Boot applications
detected in a module, set their working directory to the module directory.
A relative path in the VM options (such as --module-path=app/server/target/dependency)
then resolved against the module and the JVM failed to start. They now leave the
working directory empty, so the process starts in the project root, which is what
an empty working directory means elsewhere. The module is still stored separately
and keeps supplying the classpath and the debugger's sources.

ppxbтаppxb 43af99d3ec feat(app): ask before closing with running Run/Debug processes (#1445)
Closing a window, closing or switching a project, or quitting while Run/Debug sessions are still running now asks before terminating them (Terminate / Cancel / Don't ask again, sharing run.confirmTerminate with the Run tab prompt). Run publishes its live sessions through a RunningProcessesProvider contribution, so the close guard collects them without importing the run feature; the prompt comes before the unsaved-changes step so cancelling never discards edits.

yoo hyeong chan 0dfdbbc323 feat(gradle): link and unlink independent Gradle builds (#1413)
Opening a folder of independent Gradle builds selected only the first build. Link Gradle Projects… (pick a build's settings or build file) and Unlink on a build's root let an ordinary project window manage several independent builds without changing their scripts. The build model holds a list of Gradle builds; each keeps its own wrapper, working directory, environment, task routing and sync cache, keyed by the owning build directory. The links persist in the project's Gradle settings (linkedProjects); unlinking leaves files and saved run configurations alone. Existing includeBuild support is unchanged, and an explicitly linked build takes precedence over a composite that also includes it. Workspace windows keep Link/Unlink disabled.

Lee Dong Geon 54502e0a17 fix(run): run single Java files whose main class is not the first top-level type (#1417)
A Java file outside a Maven / Gradle build ran as `java File.java` (JEP 330), which launches the file's first top-level type on JDK 21 and earlier. A file whose main is in a later class failed with "can't find main(String[]) method in class: Parent", and the gutter Run of a second or nested class's main launched the first class. Such files now compile with the JDK's own `javac -g -d <class dir>` and run `java -cp <class dir> <main class>`; a main in the first class, and compact source files, still use the source launcher. Debug passes the JDWP agent through JDK_JAVA_OPTIONS, which only the java launcher reads.

l0ng-ai ebe059e00f fix(run): run a Python module that imports relatively as a module of its package (#1369)
Run or Debug from a Python file's context started it as a script
(`python src/tasks/cli.py`). A module of a package that imports relatively
then fails with "attempted relative import with no known parent package",
and the debugger stops on that exception.

A file with a relative import (`from .x import y`, `from . import x`) now
runs as `python -m <package>.<module>` from the folder its top package sits
in: the last `src` of its path, else the Python project's folder. A
package's `__main__.py` runs as the package. The project's interpreter is
kept (a relative venv path is adjusted to the new working directory), and
the debugger launches it with debugpy's `module`. Files without relative
imports run as scripts as before.

l0ng-ai c219c81bd8 fix(run): report Gradle tests in the test tree as they run (#1339)
Gradle prints only failed tests, so the live test tree only filled in
after the run from the XML reports, and stayed empty when the test task
was UP-TO-DATE and wrote no new reports.

Gradle test runs now get an init script that reports each test's start,
output, failure (with the stack trace), skip and finish as TeamCity
service messages and keeps test tasks from being UP-TO-DATE. The console
hides those lines; the JVM parser turns them into `[class, method]`
results, named as in the XML reports, and drops Gradle's own repeated
`Class > test() FAILED` lines. Tests the run already reported keep their
output instead of getting the report's copy appended. The TeamCity
message parsing moves out of the PHPUnit parser so both share it.

with `__init__.py`, read once and re-read when one is added or
removed), with a venv-relative interpreter resolved against the project
root. Files without relative imports still run as scripts.

l0ng-ai 8d29704d46 fix(run): merge Gradle console results into the reported test classes (#1323)
Gradle's console names a test class by its simple name and a JUnit 5

qualified class and the method name. After a run the test tree showed
each class twice, counted the failure twice, and the report's copy of
the failing test had no source location.

Console results are now moved under the reported class (when the simple
name is unambiguous), Gradle method names drop the empty `()`, and the
report's stack frame is matched for Kotlin names with spaces and frames
behind a class loader prefix (`app//`).

ntbang0901 d032addb17 fix(run): offer Run for classes whose superclass declares main (#1204)
The JVM run-target scanner only reads the file's own text, so a class like `class App extends AtomStarter {}`, whose superclass (in the project or a library JAR) declares `static main`, got no gutter Run, no Ctrl+Shift+R and no file-level Run, although the JVM launches it. Classes with an `extends` clause and no main of their own are now candidates: the superclass chain is walked through the language server's type hierarchy, each class supertype's source (file, decompiled or source-jar document) is checked for a static main, and the answer is cached per class and `extends` clause, so the gutter, Run from context, launch and debug agree. Interfaces are skipped (a static interface main is not inherited); negative answers are asked again when the server settles. `main(java.lang.String[] a)` is accepted as well.

They are now kept without derived values (run_without_derived) and get the current settings applied when the run list loads (run_apply_settings). Maven's settings file and local repository apply to every Maven configuration unless it sets them itself. Earlier stored entries are dropped once.

ntbang0901 bd424a3805 feat(gradle): import modules from Gradle itself (includeFlat, included builds, computed includes) (#715)
The Gradle model came from a static parse of settings.gradle, which cannot follow includeFlat, projectDir assignments, computed include lists or included builds, so those modules were missing from the Gradle tool window, the Project view, indexing and run. Sync now runs an init script that prints every evaluated project (identity path, directory, build directory, source sets with test classification, Java version) without resolving dependencies; the static parser stays as the fallback before the first sync. Modules outside the root become content roots, the Project view lists the build's module group above the project folder, an unsynced Gradle build is imported once when opened, and staleness ignores comments and whitespace in build scripts.

Application / Spring Boot configurations of a Gradle module run through a JavaExec task on the source set's runtime classpath by default (Settings › Build Tools › Gradle › Build and run using), with the debugger attached to the forked JVM. The build model reaches run and the Project view through a platform store rather than a cross-feature import.

Ruby gets an ERB editor mode (HTML with embedded Ruby), Ruby / Rake / RSpec run configuration types, and a Settings › Languages & Frameworks › Ruby page for choosing the interpreter (Auto picks the `.ruby-version` / mise / asdf install, else `ruby` on PATH).

- Run: `.rb` scripts run from the editor context menu, `_spec.rb` / `_test.rb` files narrow an RSpec or Rake (`SPEC=` / `TEST=`) configuration, and Rakefile tasks are detected; Rake and RSpec go through `bundle exec` when the project has a Gemfile. The chosen interpreter's `ruby`, `bundle`, `rake` and `rspec` are used and its bin directory is put on PATH.
- Configuration forms rebuild from a raw command line keeping option values with their options (`--format documentation`, `-I lib`), and a new Ruby configuration opens in the Ruby form with the script still to fill in.
- External Libraries lists the Ruby standard library and the bundle's gems, including those Bundler installs inside the project (`vendor/bundle`).
- Ruby is part of the frontend settings defaults and normalization, so the selected interpreter survives a settings round-trip.

It uses the detected npm run configuration (re-detected at click time) and otherwise a temporary configuration built with the same package-manager precedence as backend detection: the `packageManager` field, then the lockfile, inheriting the workspace root's manager for members. Workspace member configuration ids use the full relative directory, as the backend does. The "Show run icons" preference hides these icons too, and the markers are real buttons with translated titles.

ntbang0901 7c7d656a50 fix(run): select and copy the whole console output with Select All (#903)
Root cause: Cmd/Ctrl+A in the Run console fell through to the browser and selected the whole window, and copying only saw the rows the virtualizer had mounted. Select All now selects the console only (also in its context menu), and copying after it — keyboard, context menu or native copy — takes the whole buffer. copySelectionOnKeyDown accepts a textOf callback for other views that do not mount all their text.

l0ng-ai c0c56dac8a fix(run): enable Spring console colours with manual classpaths (#888)
Spring Boot runs with a manual classpath (or no classpath placeholder) skip Java classpath resolution and so also skipped the console colour VM option. The shared console VM options are now applied on that launch path too; explicit spring.output.ansi.enabled settings are kept and resolved classpaths get the option once.

Andrea Basileтаandreabasile 51988985c5 fix(run): run a Python script with the project interpreter, not the runserver command line (#897)
Root cause: projectPython built the interpreter prefix from the first Python configuration by dropping only the .py arguments, so a Django `manage.py runserver` config left `runserver` in the prefix. The prefix now ends where the program starts (`-m` or the script), so program arguments such as `runserver` and `test` never reach it; `uv run python` is kept. Covers both plain scripts and pytest files derived from the same prefix.

d939a19747 feat(run): Django test configurations with results in the test tree (#869)
Django projects get a detected `manage.py test` configuration next to runserver and a Django tests configuration type (command, runner arguments, target, settings module, options). Results stream into the test tree with failures, errors, skips and subtests, failed tests navigate to their source line, Rerun Failed Tests narrows the command to the failed labels, and single tests run from the gutter.

kkmihaiтаkkMihai f6fbc0e5db fix(run): preserve console output selection (#854)
The console virtualizes its rows, so a selection that scrolled out of the rendered window lost its rows and copying returned only part of it. Selected rows (and, while dragging, the rows between anchor and pointer) now stay mounted, auto-follow pauses while selecting, and each row ends with a line break so multi-line copies keep their newlines. Covered by unit tests and Playwright selection tests.

ntbang0901 a8e12ff7c4 feat(run): reuse the configuration of a main class run from its context (#783)
Running or debugging a main class from the editor, gutter or Project view now selects an existing saved Application or Spring Boot configuration of the same main class and module, keeping its VM options, environment and profiles, instead of creating a temporary one.

ntbang0901 193e6a4840 feat(run): colour the console of a Spring Boot run (#781)
Spring Boot configurations get -Dspring.output.ansi.enabled=always: the Run console renders ANSI colours, but Spring only enables them for a terminal and the process runs on pipes. A configuration that sets the property keeps its value.

l0ng-ai 245fe3cdf4 feat(run): .NET project run and debug configurations (#686)
.NET projects had no run configurations.

Projects from .csproj files (and those listed in .sln/.slnx) now get configurations: executable projects (OutputType Exe/WinExe, or the Web SDK) get a .NET Project configuration running dotnet run, one per Project launch profile in Properties/launchSettings.json with its application URL and environment shown; test projects (Microsoft.NET.Test.Sdk) get dotnet test. The form edits project, target framework, launch profile, program arguments and environment, which override the profile's values. Debug builds the project, resolves the output assembly through MSBuild and launches it under netcoredbg, offering to install netcoredbg when missing. The source-text catalog test now ignores Rust character literals when collecting backend strings.

l0ng-ai 210f9a78ac feat(run): project CMake profiles (#679)
CMake run configurations used fixed arguments (-B build, Debug) and only recognised existing build directories.

Projects can now define CMake profiles under Settings › Build, Execution, Deployment › CMake: build type, generator, CMake arguments, build directory (default cmake-build-<type>), build arguments and environment. Each profile gets its own Configure, Build, CTest and target run configurations, named after the profile when there are several. Configure runs first only while the build directory has no CMakeCache.txt, and a generator change clears the stale cache before configuring. Projects without profiles keep the previous detection. Arguments are stored as lists and edited with the same quoting rules as program arguments. Toolchain selection is not part of this change.

l0ng-ai c3d569d3e3 feat(run): update Spring Boot resources and application policies (#603)
Running Spring Boot main-class configurations had no Update action, and incremental Java builds did not publish edited resources to the running JVM. They now share the Update action, toolbar and build runner with Tomcat: resources go through the module's Maven or Gradle build and are published to the resolved runtime classpath, including Gradle's separate jdt.ls output directory. Class updates use scoped HotSwap when available and explain the restart requirement otherwise.

Both configuration types get "On 'Update' action" and "On frame deactivation" policies. A missing policy keeps the chooser and does no deactivation update. Focus tracking debounces external changes and prevents overlapping updates.

Verified on macOS with Maven, Gradle, Tomcat 10.1 and HotSwap. Windows and Linux focus detection were not run. On Linux a native GTK dialog can count as deactivation when no webview window is focused.

l0ng-ai 9dc736de09 fix(java): explain recovery for unimported launch modules (#585)
Java launch preparation forwarded jdtls project-lookup failures unchanged, so a Maven module missing from the parent build or a wrongly inferred module showed a raw jdtls error in every Run and Debug entry point. Launch preparation now names the selected module and explains how to recover: wait for import, check the run configuration and the parent build, or open the folder as a project.

Covers the "does not belong to any Java project", "references non-existing project" and "not a Java project" responses. Cancellation, missing server, crash, timeout and build errors keep their existing handling. Import membership and module inference are unchanged.
