The preview wraps each top-level block in its own data-line element for scroll sync, so an HTML container (<details>, <div align=center>, <section>…) whose close tag came in a later block was closed at the first wrapper and its Markdown content spilled out: <details> couldn't be collapsed and centred README headers weren't centred. Blocks inside an unclosed container now share one wrapper up to its close, and the reader's open/closed state of each <details> survives edits in split mode.

A Markdown file starting with YAML front matter (agent SKILL.md files,
static site pages) showed it in the preview as a thematic break and a run
of text. The preview now shows every top-level field in a key / value
table above the body; nested lists and mappings keep their YAML layout.
Blocks after it keep their source lines for scroll sync. Text between two
thematic breaks that isn't a mapping is rendered as before.

The read-only previews beside Problems, Show Usages and TODO results are syntax-coloured from one whole-file parse (capped for very large files), so a line inside a block comment or a multi-line string is coloured as such; the pane renders plain first and recolours when the parse lands. SourcePreview takes the colouring as a colorize prop (the editor's previewColors), keeping src/ui free of editor imports, and the tok-* colours live once in global.css instead of a copy per view, with the theme's comment style.

Markdown from comments, hovers, agent replies and files renders into the IDE's own document, so a raw <style> restyled the whole IDE and <form> / style= reached the page. Every Markdown sanitizer (LSP hovers and comments, agent messages, Markdown preview) now forbids <style>, <form> and the style attribute; agent messages also drop data-* written in a reply, since their click handlers trust data-copy / data-path. align, width and <details> stay.

Preview headings used the editor scheme's Markdown › Heading attribute (meant for the source) since #992; they now use the editor foreground like the rest of the preview.

A plugin system built on WebAssembly components (wasmtime, WASI p2), with a
typed WIT API (`openidea:[email protected]`) and a Rust SDK, shipped as a preview.
- Extension points declared in `plugin.toml` (commands, languages, themes,
icon themes, menus, key bindings, status items, settings, views, custom
editors, file icons and templates, run detectors, editor providers),
validated before anything takes effect and projected onto the workbench's
own registries: plugin themes and file icon themes are chosen in
Settings › Appearance and Quick Switch, plugin shortcuts are edited in
Settings › Keymap, plugin problems are grouped in Settings › Inspections.
- Capabilities with risk levels and consent at install, pinned `process:`
programs, secrets in the OS keychain.
- Runtime: one thread per active plugin, fuel/time/memory budgets, soft and
hard deadlines on the editing path, cancellation, crash backoff, idle
reclaim, a precompiled-component cache; remote projects run code plugins on
`openidea-server`.
- Web views and custom editors with a sandboxed page, a document bridge
joined to the text editor's undo history, and split or preview layouts.
- Distribution: signed `.oiplugin` packages, a static marketplace index with
revocation, versioned installs with rollback, install from a `.zip` or a
folder. The release workflow signs and publishes the official plugins and
their index, which released builds use as the default marketplace.
- Official plugins: String Tools, Key Promoter, Git Toolbox, AI Completion,
Checkstyle, MyBatis Navigator, CSV Editor, Solidity, Material Icons, Harbor
Night, Excalidraw, Graphviz, Regex Tester, License Header.

On macOS, with an editable element focused and an input method active, WebKit can deliver a tap as pointerup then pointerdown, so drag trackers saw every later pointermove as a held button: one tap plus a pointer move started a phantom drag (file drag label, tab detach, tool window move) and the next tap dropped it. A drag now starts only from a move with the primary button down, a move without it cancels the press, and late button-less moves after a drag started are ignored so the drop is kept. Resizers, dialog drag/resize, pan and the review gutter end instead; the Project view also listens for pointercancel.

The Markdown preview had a fixed 14px body and notebook Markdown cells inherited the UI font size, so enlarging them meant scaling the whole UI. Languages & Frameworks › Markdown › Preview font size (application-level, 8–72, following the editor font size until set) now drives the preview and notebook Markdown cells; fenced code scales with it, and notebook code cells and outputs follow the editor font.

In Preview only the editor is display:none and the preview only followed it in the split layout, so Structure's Autoscroll to Source moved a hidden caret and Autoscroll from Source never saw the preview scroll. Caret moves without an edit now scroll a Preview-only preview to that line, and the preview publishes the source line on screen through editor/api (setShownLine/useShownLine) so Structure selects the heading being read; it is cleared when the editor comes back or the preview closes.

Tab switches and mode toggles unmount MarkdownPreview, whose only
scroll state was the DOM scrollTop; Preview Only started over at the
top. Record the preview's own scrollTop in the per-path live markdown
store and restore it on mount (split mode keeps its editor-driven
sync).
* fix(markdown): use editor-side tokens in the preview
The preview paints on var(--bg-editor) but took its text colors from
the UI tokens (--fg, --fg-strong, --fg-secondary), so with a light UI
theme plus a dark editor scheme (e.g. an imported dark .icls) it
rendered black-on-black. The code editor was unaffected because it
uses --fg-editor.
The preview now uses editor-side tokens: text var(--fg-editor),
headings var(--syn-markup-heading), code/pre/th background
var(--bg-editor-inline), blockquote var(--fg-editor) at 80%.
* chore: oxfmt src/features/run/types.ts (fixes format:check broken on main by 002401e8)
* chore: regenerate bindings after rebasing onto main
Rapid double-clicks queued their opens one after another and an earlier open finishing late took the active tab and focus back. Each open now carries a sequence/activation generation: only the newest request activates and focuses, older ones still add their tab. Pending file probes are shared, document and syntax loading overlap, and repeated folder double-clicks are handled. A pending navigation selection survives a later plain open of any file; a newer selection still wins. Refs #724.

On macOS versions where WKWebView refuses user-installed fonts by family name (fonts in ~/Library/Fonts or /Library/Fonts), the editor, terminal, Markdown and UI fell back to the default font and Nerd Font icons showed as boxes; only a webfont loaded from the file's bytes renders.
Root cause: the shared font resolver only ever referred to fonts by local family name, so every consumer depended on the WebView resolving user fonts by name. A URL-based webfont is blocked by the existing font-src policy, which stays unchanged.
Fix: the shared resolver probes whether a family renders by name (on a document-attached canvas; a detached canvas falls back even when the font works) and only when it does not, fetches the enumerated user font files over a raw-bytes IPC (user fonts only, looked up by family, no paths accepted) and registers them with the FontFace API under a stable alias. Only the faces nearest regular/bold and their italics are loaded, once per family. Covers editor and editor fallback, diff/merge views, terminal font, fallback and built-in Nerd fallback (re-measured after loading), embedded terminal, settings preview, custom UI font, Markdown and Mermaid. A debug-only environment switch reproduces the WebView restriction for testing.
Verified on macOS 26 with the restriction simulated (icons boxes before, correct after) and without it (no font bytes transferred, no regression). Not run on the reporter's macOS version, Windows or Linux; other platforms keep the previous behaviour.
Fixes#592
Markdown layout controls occupied a permanent bordered popup over the document.
- Move them into the editor tab strip with layout icons. When tabs are hidden, including Distraction Free Mode, show one floating toolbar that appears on mouse activity and fades after inactivity.
- Use the same floating toolbar for the HTML browser controls.
- Keep keyboard access: hold the toolbar while focused, return focus on Escape, and respect reduced motion. Add theme tokens with their import, template and reference entries.
The image viewer zoomed in fixed steps around the top-left and scrolled to move. It now zooms smoothly around the pointer with Cmd/Ctrl+wheel or pinch, pans with drag or the wheel, and the zoom actions keep the view centred. Mermaid diagrams in the Markdown preview zoom the same way with Cmd/Ctrl+wheel, pan by dragging once zoomed in, and reset on double-click; plain wheel still scrolls the preview.
Run oxfmt once over the whole repository (formatting only, no logic changes) and add `pnpm format:check` to the frontend CI job so unformatted code no longer builds up. `.oxfmtrc.json` now skips the generated theme docs, test fixtures and code blocks inside Markdown.

Hard-coded UI text, titles and aria-labels in about 110 components (Git panels, hierarchy, pull requests, dialogs, settings, welcome) now go through tx; spliced fragments became whole sentences (fileCount, noneFoundLabel, hierarchyTitle) and pull request states use keyed messages. 225 zh entries added, stale fragment entries removed.
Also: tx used as a tag without interpolations (tx`No checks`) now looks the text up exactly instead of as a template, so it is translated like tx("No checks"); the text-catalog test checks such tags as plain literals. Check and test counts reuse the existing "{count} passed" / "{failed} failing" entries.

Adds Solarized Light, Solarized Dark, One Light and One Dark as built-in themes across the workbench, editor, terminal and Mermaid, keeping the original palettes (MIT notices in THIRD_PARTY_LICENSES.md, mapping in docs/themes.md).
- Native window colours are read from tokens.css at build time (`theme_frame.rs`) instead of a second colour table.
- Startup restores the built-in palette before first paint.
- Editor schemes, the terminal and Mermaid refresh on switches between themes of the same kind.
- The plugin packages of the same themes are removed.
- A test requires every built-in palette theme to define each token (only listed ones may inherit from the base theme), so new tokens can't silently miss them.

Solarized Light/Dark and One Light/Dark ship as theme plugins (plugins/theme-solarized, plugins/theme-one) with complete UI tokens, editor schemes and terminal colours, and the original palettes' MIT notices. Installing a plugin now also copies its LICENSE/NOTICE/COPYING.
Theme handling that benefits every plugin theme:
- The last plugin theme is restored before first paint (splash, workbench); the native window background follows the theme.
- HSL / color-mix() / var() colours are resolved to RGB for native windows, the Settings window and Mermaid.
- Mermaid, the terminal and editor schemes follow switches between two themes of the same kind.
- An explicitly chosen editor scheme wins over a plugin theme's editor colours.

Adds Increase Font Size / Decrease Font Size (⌥⇧. / ⌥⇧, in the IntelliJ keymaps) for the active editor, sharing the ±1px step and limits with ⌘/Ctrl + mouse wheel. The Markdown preview, including code blocks, follows its editor's zoom, and Reset Font Size in All Editors resets it too.
Editor zoom had no effect once a font size was configured in settings: the configured size was applied with higher precedence than the zoom. The zoom now wins.

Fenced ```mermaid blocks in the Markdown preview render as diagrams. mermaid (12.1.0) is loaded lazily, only when a preview contains a diagram, with securityLevel "strict"; colours come from the theme tokens and diagrams re-render on theme changes. Syntax errors show inline under the source. Rendered diagrams are cached by theme + source, so editing elsewhere in the file doesn't redraw them.

Root cause: body is user-select: none and each feature had to opt back in; the Markdown preview (and other read-only views) never did, and the app-wide contextmenu guard left no Copy item.
Fix: shared selectableText class (src/ui) for read-only content, and a fallback Copy context menu from browserGuards when right-clicking a selection or a selectable area (component menus still win).
Siblings covered: Quick Documentation / hover / completion docs, hover errors, Quick Definition, debugger value tooltip, inspection messages, message dialogs (no drag on body text), notification titles, About dialog; existing selectable consoles now get Copy too.
Verified in-app on macOS: select in Markdown preview, right-click Copy puts the text on the clipboard; tab context menu unchanged.

Message dialogs: `Dialog` gets an `icon` (question / info / warning / error)
that renders IDEA's alert layout: no title bar, a 32px icon, bold title,
text, checkbox under it. Every confirmation helper (prompt, VCS, services,
project tree, keymap, LSP choices, run, database, Replace All) uses it. Open
Project matches IDEA: "This Window" is the default and has focus. The Code
Analysis and TODO commit checks default to Review.
Project widget: the title bar project button opens a popup like IDEA's
ProjectWidget, with Open… / Clone Repository…, the projects open in other
windows (new `window_open_projects` command) and recent projects, filtered by
typing.
Chinese UI: UI text stays written in English and is translated through a
source-text catalog (`locales/text/zh.json`, about 2300 strings). The UI
primitives (buttons, checkboxes, selects, tabs, dialogs, menus, tooltips,
toasts, settings labels and hints) translate the strings they are given.
Action titles and categories are localised in the registry, and static JSX
text uses `<T>`, so text follows a locale switch without a reload. The
Settings window now syncs the locale too. Settings search matches both
languages.
